Fall in VanCity

Since arriving back in Canada in November we’ve seen Vancouver change dramatically in colour.  We were lucky enough to find a place in Kitsilano for the first 2 weeks while we looked for work and a new home.  That place happened to be on the 6th floor of an apartment block that overlooked the city north to the mountains.  Lucky us.  With a trip back to Whistler to get most of our possessions from Patricia and Conrad’s house, and an epic rideshare, ferry, bus and walk back home with 2 giant backpacks, a box and 2 bikes, we were set for the next chapter – city life.  Fall was in full force and we managed to catch the autumn colours and blue skies briefly before the rain set in.  We even got a bit of snowfall thrown in for good measure.  Talk about changing seasons.  The city looks much different now that winter has set in, but it’s nice that we got a month or so of the pretty colours.  Here’s some pics.
